Your horse may need a massage IF.....

Sooooo.... How do you know if your horse could use a massage therapy session? Here are some common indicators:
  • Stiffness: loss of freedom of motion
  • Unhappy while working
  • Sore back
  • Change in attitude
  • Unwilling to bend
  • Obvious discomfort in motion
  • Horse is vaguely "off"
Prevention is the best medicine. Regular body work sessions can prevent small muscle problems from becoming big issues later. Regular massage therapy maximizes your horse's full performance potential!

Massage is extremely beneficial not only to the horse's muscles and body systems, but also their mental relaxation. That being said, massage does NOT replace a vet! Here are some signs that you should call the vet, not your equine masseuse:
  • Severe Lameness
  • Swelling
  • A lethargic attitude
  • Horse is in obvious acute pain
